Consoling a person whose property was damaged

Question

Is there any hadith or Quraan verse to console a person whos property was burnt by fire or damaged by water?

Answer

In the following verse of the Quraan Allah Ta'ala says that whatever difficulty a believer goes through, whether loss of wealth or loss of life, Allah Ta'ala will reward him abundantly if he exercises patience.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
