Earning a living through selling CCTV cameras

Question

I am a businessman and I own multiple businesses. One of my businesses sells CCTV cameras which are used for security purposes. Am I allowed to sell these cameras in my business?

Answer

Pictures of animate objects are impermissible in Islam. Hence, refrain from selling these CCTV cameras.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
