Is it permissible for a female to swim in the beach?

Question

Is it permissible for a female to swim in the beach? I keep on my scarf and abaya and make sure there is no people around.

Answer

It is illogical to say that there is nobody around the beach. You cannot restrict the movement of people. So how can a Muslim woman think of doing something through which her pardah etc. will be invaded.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
