Purpose of istikhaarah
Question
Does a positive istikhaara necessarily mean that the action will be carried out? Does that mean it is decreed?
Answer
The purpose of Istikhaarah is for one to seek goodness from Allah Ta’ala in the matter one intends to embark on. The purpose of the Istikhaarah is not to find out what is to take place in the future.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
