Forgetting to perform sajdah sahw in salaah

Question

I was performing four rakaats of sunnah muakkadah and I had to do sajdah sahw but I forgot to do it. Should I redo my salaah?

Answer

If you had forgotten to make the sajdah-e-sahw, then you were supposed to repeat the salaah. However, once the time of the salaah elapses, the salaah will not have to be repeated.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
