Spending iddat in the husband's home

Question

Please tell me if a woman's husband has given her one talaaq, does she have the right to stay with her husband?

Answer

Once the husband issues the talaaq, the iddat of the wife immediately commences.

The law of Shari'ah is that the wife should spend iddat in the home of her husband.

During the iddat, if the husband verbally revokes the talaaq, or is intimate with her, the iddat will end and she will remain in his nikaah.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
