Question

Can we post pictures on social media in remembrance of marhooms?

Answer

Pictures are haraam. And it is possible that the marhoom will go through further difficulty if he did not discourage this practice. This is not at all a way of sympathising, rather it is complicating the problem.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
