IUI and IVF fertility treatment

Question

Are fertility assisted procedures such as IUI and IVF permissible in Islam?

Answer

If the procedure entails undressing and exposing one's private area to others then this will not be permissible.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
