Question

Is it necessary to walk with the janaazah for a distance before burial?

Answer

If the grave yard is at a close distance, then it is better to transport the mayyit to the grave yard on foot. If the grave yard is at a distance, it is permissible to transport the mayyit via a vehicle.

And Allah Ta'ala knows best.
