Question

If I gave zakaat out of $1000, and when I will reach $1000 again, will I have to pay zakaat again

Answer

Every year, on your zakaat date you will calculate your zakaat. On your zakaat date, the total amount of zakaatable wealth you possess after deducting debts and liabilities, you will discharge 2.5% of the wealth as zakaat (provided it reaches the nisaab or more).
