Erecting a structure over a grave and making zikr by a grave

Question

1. Can a person build a wooden structure over a Muslim grave as my family members want to do this over my fathers grave as well as erect a granite headstone and I dont feel it is islamic.

2. Please advise regarding making zikr every sunday at the grave.

1. No, it is not correct.

2. This is baseless.
