Clipping one's nails in the state of haidh

· 13 Shawwal 1434 AH1 min readEnglish

Question

If a lady is in haidh, is it permissable for her to cut her nails and hair? It is uncomfortable when it's long.

Answer

It is makrooh for a woman in the state of haidh to clip her nails. However if there is the need for her to clip her nails (e.g. it has grown very long), it will be permissible.

And Allah Ta'ala knows best.
