Question

Can women give the Iqaamat before Salaah ?

Answer

Women should not give the Iqaamat before Salaah.

وهو سنة ) للرجال في مكان عال ( مؤكدة ) هي كالواجب في لحوق الإثم

(قوله للرجال ) أما النساء فيكره لهن الأذان وكذا الإقامة لما روي عن أنس وابن عمر من كراهتهما لهن ولأن مبنى حالهن على الستر ورفع صوتهن حرام إمداد (شامي 1/384)
