Taking beach sand, shells or flowers home

Question

1. Can I take beach sand and use it for my personal use? I have some work to do and don't want to outlay extra cash.

On that note, can I take home with me a beach pebble or shell I find on the shore/sand?

2. I love taking walks in nature. If I find an interesting leaf or flower, etc. Can I take that home too?

Answer

1. Yes.

2. If the park is a private property and the authorities of the park have no objections and allow you to take it then it is permissible.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
