Superiority of those who pass away on a Friday

Question

If a person passes away on a Friday/in Ramadan, does this mean he is more superior to those who pass away on any other day?

Answer

The question of superiority is known best to Allah Ta`ala. However, the virtue of passing away on a Friday is that he is not subjected to the trials of the grave.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

عن عبد الله بن عمرو قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: ما من مسلم يموت يوم الجمعة أو ليلة الجمعة إلا وقاه الله فتنة القبر (سنن الترمذي، الرقم: 1074، و قال: هذا حديث غريب)
