Question

I am the owner of a company and I would like to know, if giving a holiday to a non-Muslim employee on his festival is a sin?

Answer

If it is a request and you are giving him the holiday as per his request, then it is permissible, just as Sunday is the day for Christians but it is a legal requirement in most places. So you are not doing it in respect of the day, rather it is a request and a legal requirement.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
