Muslim business trading at the time of Jumuah
Question
What is the condition of a business that remains open and trading at the time of Jummah. All Muslim staff leave for Salaah but the doors remain open.
Answer
We will not say that the money earned during that time is haraam. But as a mark of respect for the Jumuah Salaah it is best to close the business. Who knows, Allah will grant the person much more blessing and barkat with the closing of the shop than when he had kept it open.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

Where scholars differ, it’s safer to take the more cautious view.
