Raising the price of stock
Question
In a business, regarding old and new stock. When new stock arrives sometimes there is an increase. What should a Muslim owner do: raise the price of all stock or just the new stock and give the customer the benefit?
Answer
He has got the right to do both. The idea is that he must be clear about the price and he should also show the commodity properly and correctly.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
