Can I trim my chest and back hairs with a machine?

Question

I have hair on my chest and back which are about 2 inches long. One day when I came out of the washroom, one of my friends said to me that I are looking like a shaitaan because my body being full of long hair. Can I trim my chest and back hairs with a machine?

Answer

Removing the hair on the chest and on the back is an undesirable act for men except if it has grown very long.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
