Giving zakaat to an organization to discharge

Question

Does donation to zakaat foundation, or relief help organizations, fulfills the requirement of our zakaat? As we are not directly given zakaat to poor but organization third party.

Answer

If the organisation you are giving is a reliable organisation and they are distributing the zakaat to the poor correctly on behalf of the donors, then there is no problem if you give them your zakaat to discharge on your behalf.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
