Seeing paint on one's hands after performing salaah

Question

After performing my salaah, I saw tiny drops of paint (water based wall paints) on my hands. Is my salaah valid?

Answer

If the paint prevented water from reaching the skin, then the wudhu was not valid, and the salaah will also not be valid. After removing the paint, you should make wudhu and repeat the salaah. If the time has elapsed, then you should perform the salaah as qadha.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
