Notice period to resign from a company

Question

If a person was working for a company for more than a year. In terms of the shariah, what is the minimum notice period or how long of a notice period does one need to give to a company if he decided to resign from that company?

Answer

There is no shar`ee specification for this. As long as he does not violate the contract and agreement that was made at the time of employment, it is permissible.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
