Calculating iddat of divorce that was issued during haidh
Question
I am currently observing my iddat. My husband divorced me. According to shariah, my iddat period was 3 months/3 menstrual cycles. When he gave divorce I was menstruating. Will that be counted in the 3 cycles to complete iddat.
Answer
No. It will be 3 full menstrual cycles after the one in which you were divorced.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
