Using plastic utensils that are painted gold and silver

Question

Regarding gold and silver utensils, would it be impermissible to use the the plastic utensils that are painted gold and silver? Even though an onlooker wouldn’t be able to tell whether it is plastic or not?

Answer

It is permissible.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
