Question

Is Namaz accepted behind an Imam who openly sins like goes to the cinema?

Answer

The salaah will be valid, however, such a person who commits sins openly should not be appointed as the imaam. Nevertheless, if such a person is appointed as the imaam (e.g. in the musjid), then the sin will be upon the imaam and those who appointed him as the imaam. The sin will not be on the muqtadis (followers).

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
