Will I have to make the missed rakaats after the imaam terminates the salaah?
Published as Joining the Esha Salaah late with the intention of nafl
Question
If I join an Eshaa Salaah behind an imaam with the intention of nafl, after missing the first 2 rakaats. Will I have to make the missed rakaats after the imaam terminates the salaah? Or will the 2 rakaats of nafl be valid and I may end the salaah with the imaam?
Answer
Yes, you should make up for the missed rakaats.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
