Question

When the Quraan say that Allah has created us for His worship only (something to the effect and I am not certain if there is such a ayaat), does this refer to His worship until we die, taste death, only in this world and not in jannah?

Answer

Ibaadat refers to His service and recognition. So His recognition will continue in Jannah as well insha-Allah.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
