Using the money received as a child grant

Question

I recieve child grant for my daughter. Does this money belong to me or to the child? If i do not use up the entire amount from her monthly allowance should the remainder be given to the child or can it be used elsewhere?

Answer

It belongs to the child.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
