Making sajdah sahw after mistakenly making a third sajdah
Question
During prayer, by mistake, I went on for the third sajdah but as soon as I realized, I sat back without completing سبحن ربی الاعلی three times and then did sajdah sahw. Will my namaz be valid?
Answer
Your salaah is valid. You did the correct thing by making sajdah sahw for making a third sajdah mistakenly.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
