Question

Can a pregnant and breast feeding mother break/miss the fast in Ramadhaan? Does she have to give fidya of the missed fast only or she has to keep the qadha later on? Is it ok if she gives fidya only? Can you please let me know the fidya for one fast.

Answer

Yes, if fasting is going to be harmful to her health or the child.

She should only keep qadha.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
