Question

Is it permissible for one in the state of ihraam to kill a locust?

Answer

No, it is not permissible to kill a locust in the state of ihraam. The Hadith explains that a locust is from those creatures which one is not permitted to kill in the state of ihraam. Hence, if a person in the state of ihraam kills a locust, he should give some sadaqah.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
