Question

I have recently moved into a house which forms part of complex and is run by a body corporate. The house belongs to my wife in a Family Trust, however I pay the expenses to run the house. I have just recently found out that the monthly levies I pay includes a portion which is allocated to insurance for the home. I was unaware of this and thought that the home was uninsured.

Please advise on what I should do ?

Answer

Inform the body corporate that you do not want to pay this amount as you do not want your house to be insured.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
