Question

Can a female perform Hajj-e-Badl on behalf of a male or female?

Answer

A female can perform Hajj-e-Badl on behalf of a female or male (i.e. in the case where she is accompanied by her mahram). However, appointing a male to perform Hajj-e-Badl is better.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
