Question

Is it haraam to pray in forbidden times? Would they be valid? What is the status of qadha prayers performed in the last 20 minutes of Asr? Are they valid and disliked?

Answer

It is not permissible to perform salaah in the forbidden times (i.e. at the time of sunrise, midday and sunset).

This is the time when the colour of the sun changes. It is makrooh for one to delay performing the Asr Salaah until this time, though the salaah performed will be valid.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
