When and where do I don Ihraam?

Question

I intend performing Umrah for my deceased parents. I’m travelling to Jeddah and staying for 2 days with my niece who resides there. After I finish Umrah I will go back to Jeddah for a week and then to Doha for 2 days.

When and where do I don Ihraam?

Can I perform 1 umrah for both my parents?

Answer

Since you are going to meet your relatives in Jeddah and stay with them for two days, you can put on your ihraam in Jeddah.

Yes, you can perform a nafl umrah and then convey the reward of the umrah to both your parents.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
