Qadha for fasts missed during pregnancy
Question
I want to know that 5 years ago I was pregnant for my daughter in the month of Ramadaan, so after she was born I wanted to pay in the missed fasts as I have done for my eldest, but a moulana told me it wasn't neccessary I just have to pay fidya. Now people are telling me that I have to pay in the missed fasts. What am I suppose to do now?
Answer
You only have to keep qadha for the missed fast. You do not need to pay any fidyah.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
