Raising the qabars

Question

Is it better to raise the graves a little like that of a camels hump or better to flatten it like how its done in Jannatul Baqee?

Answer

It is better to raise it slightly.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

عن أبي وائل : أن عليا قال لأبي الهياج الأسدي أبعثك على ما بعثني به النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم أن لا تدع قبرا مشرفا إلا سويته ولا تمثالا إلا طمسته (جامع الترمذي #1049)

( ولا يربع ) للنهي ( ويسنم ) ندبا وفي الظهيرية وجوبا قدر شبر

قال الشامي : قوله ( ويسنم ) أي يجعل ترابه مرتفعا عليه كسنام الجمل لما روى البخاري عن سفيان النمار أنه رأى قبر النبي مسنما وبه قال الثوري والليث ومالك وأحمد والجمهور (رد المحتار 2/ 237)
