Question

Is it permissible for a husband in the state of ihraam to cut his wife’s hair for her to come out from ihraam after completing the umrah or vice versa? If this is a violation, will damm be compulsory upon them?

Answer

If both the husband and wife have completed all the actions of umrah and cutting the hair is the only action that remains upon both, then in this case, it will be permissible for the husband and wife to cut each other’s hair in order for them to come out of the state of ihraam. Damm will not be waajib upon them.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
