Making purdah from one's brother in-law

Question

I want your help and advice. Everyone says I make a lot of sabar but nowadays I am totally helpless. A person is teasing me a lot and I can't avoid him as he live with us. I am happily married but he always passes words like this girl is bad and insults me. He is my brother in-law.

Answer

Observe purdah between your brother in-law and do not speak to him. In this way there will not be any need for him to speak to you or say anything to you. Do not pay attention to what he says and ignore him.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
