Studying tafseer independently
Question
Can you recommend a good easy-to-understand English translation of the Quraan Shareef?
Answer
You should not study the tafseer of the Quran independently, rather you should study it under a learned or experienced aalim. After completing a considerable amount under his guidance, he will be in a better position to direct you, according to your level, to an easy English translation of the Quran Shareef. Thereafter whenever you are faced with some difficulty in understanding the tafseer, you should refer to that Aalim.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
