Mouthwash which contains alcohol

Question

I was using mouth wash for longtime but never realize that it has 20% of alcohol in it so the question is: Is it permissible to use mouth wash even if it contains alcohol (because we are using it as medicine)? If I don't use it then I start getting bad breath so I have to do something. Please tell me what to do?

Answer

Try and look for a mouthwash that is free of alcohol. Recently dentists have agreed that the best mouthwash is salt water.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
