Question

Courts in my country require people to take oaths of the quran before saying anything. Is that ok?

Answer

If it is a court requirement, one may take the oath. However, one should request that the Quraan should not be brought to the court, so that no disrespect is shown to the Quraan.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
