Women using itr and perfume

Question

I wanted to know whether women are permitted to use itr and perfume inside and outside the house?

Answer

They may apply itr in the presence of their husbands and mahrams only. If they may come into contact with any ghayr mahram then they should avoid using any type of itr.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
