Why are zohr and asr called sirri salaahs and the Imam would not recite loudly?

Question

Why are zohr and asr called sirri salaahs and the Imam would not recite loudly? Any significance? Please explain.

Answer

Allah Ta'ala had commanded that these Salaah be performed in this manner.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
