Black colour hair dye

Question

It says in Jawahir ul Fiqh volume 7 page 170 it is makrooh to use black colour hair dye reference from Alamgeeri and Durremukhtar, by makrooh does it mean makrooh tanzihi or Tahrimi because I was told its makrooh tanzihi?

Answer

There is a difference among our ulama. Hence, it is best to avoid using pure black.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
