Doubting the number of rakaats one performed
Question
One on numerous occasions doubts the number of rakaats one had read in salaat. Does the salaat have to be repeated?
Answer
He should try to the best of his ability to remember how many rakaats he had performed and thereafter follow the dominant portion of his mind. He does not have to repeat the Salaah.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
