Drinking water one minute before the time of Sehri expires
Question
I am keeping my shawwaal fasts. I had misread the ending time for sehri and thought it was 5:11. However in reality the time ended at 5:06 and fajr entry was 5:11. I stopped drinking water 1 minute before 5:11 because I had read sehri ends a minute before fajr entry. Is my fast valid. Do I have to repeat the fast?
Answer
If you drank the water before the time of sehri ended, your fast is valid.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

When does sehri end and iftar begin?
“You should follow the Sehri (Suhoor) time of the location where you are physically present at the time of Sehri. If you are in Doha at the time of Sehri, then you will follow the Sehri time of Doha and begin your fast accordingly.”
