Becoming a football player

Question

My son wants to become a football player. Is it allowed in Islam?

Answer

A Muslim’s life is too valuable for all these types of frivolities. It does not at all behove a Muslim that he wastes his time and energies in these types of non-beneficial activities.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
