Question

A person was a musaafir on the 10th, 11th, and 12th of Zul Hijjah. However, before sunset on the 12th, he returned home. Will qurbaani be waajib upon him?

Answer

If he possesses wealth equal to the nisaab amount of zakaat or more (regardless of whether the wealth is zakaatable wealth or non-zakaatable wealth e.g. extra clothing or furniture which one no longer uses), then qurbaani will be waajib upon him.
