Consuming commercial chickens which are injected with fillers

Question

I have heard that eating chicken that are injected with fillers that increase their breeding capacity is not halaal in the view that those injected medicine consists of unacceptable elements. Such chicken is commonly consumed everywhere. Is the consumption of such chicken permissible?

Answer

Though this is unhealthy, however if the chickens were slaughtered according to the correct method of slaughter, the meat will be halaal.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
